The venue’s new name pays tribute to a knife found in the walls of the building that’s more than a century old, but the dagger wasn’t all that was unearthed during the construction. According to rumors, when the dagger was found, a painted-on pentagram was also discovered, and shortly after a bouncer felt paralyzed to the spot where the pentagram was. Since then, the owners have left the venue’s dagger in place to try and avoid any future eerie occurrences.
